Spring Photo Shoot

We took these pictures over a couple of days in May.

I just love these next two of Selah. It's not forced or posed. Just sweet pictures of Sweet Selah.

KIRA

ADAM

Looking GQ, especially with his athletic socks peaking up over his shoe. :-)

LESA

I'd expect Selah to do something like this, but not Lesa. I had to get it on "film" and I'm so glad I did. It's definitely a fave among friends and family.

I love it when their personality comes out in the shot.

Oh, Sassy Selah!

One of my favorites of her...

It's not the best of Selah or Adam, but I love how Kira is putting her head on Lesa's shoulder.
I'm actually catching them in these "sweet moments" more and more. Fountain at N. Oak and Vivion

This is probably my favorite group shot. LESA

Selah - This is how she wanted the picture taken. Again - true personality shining through.

My first attempt at a "photo collage." Forever Friends...this is what I tell the kids all the time. That friends may come and go, but as siblings you will be forever friends. Next to knowing Christ as their Savior, them being best friends is one of our biggest prayers and hopes for their lives. When they often bicker at each other, or say something mean, I always ask, "Would you say that to your friend?" They inevitably reply, "No."

Of course, I can't tell you how many times I'm reminded to ask myself that same question when speaking with them or Mike. It's a two-way street, huh?

Randy and Amy Wedding

Originally the bride and groom planned their wedding for the bride's family farm in Hiawatha, Kan., but the weather had other plans. A week of rains ensured an indoor wedding, so the wedding was held at the family church.

The Father of the bride surprised us all when he grabbed the groom's hand during the song, "Butterfly Kisses." I love being in the right place at the right time to catch moments like this!

A moment of trying to get his daughter to cooperate turned into one of the bride's favorite pictures.
